This privacy policy sets out how Creative Infocity Ltd. (“Infocity”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) uses and protects information collected through the SmartPark InfoCity mobile application (the “App”) and the related parking management services, which are provided for employees and authorised users of Infocity IT Park.
Creative Infocity Ltd. is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using the App, you can be assured it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
Creative Infocity Ltd. may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are comfortable with any changes. This policy is effective from October 2, 2026.
What we collect
Information that may be collected through the App:
- Account information: user accounts are created and provided by Infocity administrators; the App does not allow self-registration. We hold your name, contact information (such as email address and telephone number) and login credentials (password stored in encrypted form).
- Profile information: details and profile photo that you add or edit in your profile.
- Vehicle information: registration number, vehicle type and other details of vehicles linked to your account, along with their status.
- Parking activity: entry and exit records (date, time and gate, i.e. Gate 1 or Gate 2) of your registered vehicles.
- Device and usage information: device model, operating system, app version, IP address and error logs.
- Communications: requests, feedback and inquiries you send us.
We do not collect payment card or bank details through the App.
What we do with the information we gather
The information is used to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:
- Managing your account and authenticating your identity.
- Registering and verifying your vehicles for parking.
- Managing parking access and keeping vehicle entry/exit records for security and parking administration.
- Internal record keeping.
- Improving our products, services, security and app performance.
- Complying with applicable laws.
Who can access your information
Your information is accessible to authorised Infocity administrators and security/parking staff for operating the parking system. Data is stored on servers hosted with DigitalOcean, which provides us secure hosting and storage services and may only use data to provide those services. We may disclose information to authorities when required by law.
Security
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have established physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) and secure authentication tokens. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the parking services, and thereafter for as long as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and maintain security records.
Links to other websites
The App may contain links to other websites of interest. Once you leave our App, we do not have any control over that other website and cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide there. Such sites are not governed by this privacy statement.
Controlling your personal information
We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.
You can view and update your profile information within the App, and change your password from your Profile screen.
Account and data deletion: because accounts are created by Infocity administrators, you may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting your administrator or by emailing info@theinfocity.net from your registered email. We will process the request within a reasonable period, except for data we must keep by law.
If you are located in a country within the European Union, you may request details of your personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): a copy of the information held on you, correction of incorrect or incomplete information, or removal of your information from our systems. Your Rights
Under certain circumstances, by law, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- A right of access to your personal data held by us;
- A right to receive your personal data in machine-readable format;
- A right to object to processing of your personal data where we rely on legitimate interests;
- A right to ask us not to process your personal data for direct marketing purposes;
- Where we rely on your consent, a right to withdraw it at any time;
- A right in certain circumstances to have inaccurate personal data rectified, blocked, erased or destroyed, and a right to complain to your data protection supervisory authority.
These rights can be exercised by contacting us at info@theinfocity.net. In order to protect you, we reserve the right to verify your identity before processing any such request. Please note that not all rights are absolute.
Children’s privacy
The App is intended for employees and authorised users of Infocity IT Park who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Device permissions
The App does not request access to your camera, location, contacts, storage or other sensitive device permissions.
